This is a toy I loved as a child, and I love seeing the same spark in my sons eyes. I had bought this a few days for our upcoming plane trip. Once we walked out of the store I opened the box, and my son wouldn’t put it down. It is quiet, and easy for a 2 year old to use once they get the hang of pushing the lever all the way down. I chose the Thomas set because when I was looking for reels I did not see a Thomas pack, but I did see Nemo, Batman, Wiggles, and Dora. Another reason we went with the traditional model, is because on this one the lever gets pushed down and the newer ones the lever needs to be pushed forward, which was too hard for my 2 year old to do. My 2 year old even knows how to change the reels with no problems. br /br /At this age there isn’t much educational value at this age, but for older kids they can make up stories and let their creativity soar or read the story on the reels (in the middle of the eye pieces). I had also seen a projector for the older kids to really make up their own story, and everyone can see. br /br /Our biggest problem…My son won’t remove this from his eyes, and he keeps walking into walls and furniture.br /br /I already bought the Nemo cartridge, and I can’t wait to buy more.

Delivered by Fedex 4 days after ordered using free shipping option. Packed well. Used in a dark bedroom so glare is not an issue. Great picture using digital cable (not HD), regular ant/cable connection with coax cable and digital cable adapter. Good sound, good volume, good value for price. Viewing is best when TV is slightly lower than eye level to minimize any darkness. Very happy with this TV. I also have a 19″ Toshiba, so I was already familiar with the various controls and settings.

I bought Crayola pencils for my 5 and 8 year old children because I needed something for them to color with in the car that does not melt on the seats. Crayons just weren’t cutting it. The pencils have been very nice to have around. The 12 count boxes have just the number of colors to satisfy their creative urge. br /br /The tips are finer than a crayon, of course, so they must spend much more time coloring a picture. However, they also have more control, so the pictures come out looking lots neater.br /br /My kids press hard on the tip to make their colors more bold, but the lead does not break. It’s a pretty hard pencil. br /br /Given the choice, my kids still prefer crayons, but they will use the pencils on occasion, or when we are out and the only thing available are the colored pencils. In time, I’m sure they will begin to favor the pencils. They are definitely my choice for car trips.
